Dinner tonight: sweet potato, sauteed kale topped with bruschetta, a chicken sausage, andddd some Chardonnay.
Quick, colorful, pretty clean (minus that big ol’ pat of butter and the booze…whatever, live a little) and fucking delissssh

THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING

…is anyone else injured and/or sick and unable to work out right now??

My back is out and I have a wicked cold and I know my body needs a break, but it’s driving me crazy and I could use some support.

45 minutes on the bike…back feels better but keeping it simple with the workouts for now.
dinner tonight: sauteed brussels sprouts and portobello mushroom sprinkled with togaroshi (aka magic spice). Fuckin’ yum, clean eating tastes great post-holidays.
(…following this with some chocolate and a big ‘ol glass of wine, obvi)

it’s the little things

Today, I:

  • had my first of two emergency chiropractic appts for my spine, which went VERY well - I should be healed in a week or so and easing back into everything
  • resisted the urge to push my injured self at the gym and just did a little stair HIIT workout + some pullup/dip assisted machine work
  • had lots of eggs, kale, grapes, clementines, and quinoa, and a big dessert, ‘cause I wanted it, and I don’t feel guilty about it because it was fucking delicious.

good day, for mind and body. Rome wasn’t built in a week mofuckas.
